Help Your Child Speak, Eat, and Thrive

Hi, I’m Jocelyn – a mom, speech language pathologist, parent coach, and author. I believe every child has something special about them, and together, we’ll help them express it. Let’s make speaking, eating, and learning fun again!

How I Can Help

1:1 Speech Therapy

Following a comprehensive evaluation with a speech language pathologist, you receive a detailed report and an individualized treatment plan to meet the needs of your child and your family.

Feeding Therapy

Following a parent intake, Jocelyn will join your family at mealtime to observe family dynamics, motor function, sensory patterns, and any choking or gagging concerns. Together, you will evaluate next best steps for therapy or ongoing consultations and receive a comprehensive plan to move forward with happier mealtimes

Executive Functioning Coaching

For some children and adults, managing tasks can be difficult, which can interfere with school work or work demands. Jocelyn will evaluate strengths and weaknesses, coordinate with school-based personnel, and come up with a comprehensive plan to address your child’s strengths and weaknesses.

We went through many speech therapists and I can say with great confidence, Jocelyn is absolutely the best one we ever had. He absolutely thrived working with her. To me it seems she can fix all our problems.

– Nicole, mom of W. age 11

When Jocelyn started working with our family, we had an 18 month old that seemed to understand it all, but was barely speaking. Within months, our little guy was expressing himself freely- singing songs and telling stories with a vocabulary that exceeded his age level.

– Lee, Mom of M. age 5

When our 4 year old son started working with Jocelyn, he was predominantly talking out of one side of his mouth in addition to other speech pronunciation challenges. 3 months after working with her, he was consistently using both sides of his mouth and smile.

– Leslie, Mom of W., age 4

Hi, I’m Jocelyn – a mom, speech-language pathologist, parent coach, and author.

I believe every child has something special about them, and together, we’ll help them express it. Let’s make speaking, eating, and learning fun again!

With nearly two decades of experience as a speech-language pathologist in Brooklyn, I’ve learned that every child’s journey is unique. When I became a parent, I realized just how true this is! There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, but one thing I know for sure: you, as a parent, know your child better than anyone. With the right guidance and support, you can lead them on an exciting language-learning adventure, provide meaningful exposures to new foods, or know exactly how to support them as they approach academics.

When we work together, we’re a team. I’ll share my expertise on child development, learning styles, and milestones, while you provide the insights only a parent can offer. Together, we’ll create a nurturing space where your child’s mind can grow, and they can truly thrive.

Where do you offer services?

We provide home-based speech therapy services throughout Brooklyn. We serve families in Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, Ditmas Park, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Dumbo, Fort Greene, and Clinton Hill.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept medical insurance or RSAs for speech therapy services. We provide super bills for visits, and will work with families to help get reimbursement for services.

Can you work in my child's school?

Each school has their own policies regarding outside providers. It is best that you contact your child’s school directly to see if this is an option.
